“Trust is earned in the smallest of moments. It is earned not through heroic deeds, or even highly visible actions, but through paying attention, listening, and gestures of genuine care and connection.” - Brené Brown

Individual Clients
As an IFS therapist , so often I hear “I know why things are difficult for me, but I still can’t figure out how to feel better”. I hear you! Connecting the dots and thinking through things cognitively can certainly help us progress in our healing journey, but oftentimes we can still feel stuck.
In order for things to move through us, we have to acknowledge the physical experience of our emotions, which then allows us to reconnect with ourselves internally. In our work together, we will do a combination of talking through parts of your life and making sense of things, and also turning inward toward your emotions/parts and tending them so they can soften and give you more space to feel grounded. This part of the work is somatic-based, incorporating the mind and body together.
My therapeutic approach is client-centered, nurturing, and genuine. This means that you are in the driver’s seat and I’m here to be your co-pilot in navigating your internal and external world. My role is not to tell you how to live your life, but rather to create enough safe space for you to connect with yourself and live in a way that feels aligned.
Couples and Families
Relationships can be as painful as they are rewarding. This is due to the vulnerability that is required to connect so deeply to someone we love. At our core, we are all desiring a secure and peaceful connection, and I love holding enough space for people to put down the boxing gloves and bond again.
In my work with couples and families, we start by slowing down and uncovering the cycles we find ourselves stuck in. I’m sure you know the feeling of having the same conflict over and over and over again! It makes sense that our protectors come to our defense when we are in relation, due to how much vulnerability we are experiencing. Once we flesh out the dance of your protectors, we can work with the different parts in each of you, creating enough safety inside to remain connected to the one you love.
Relationships are so important, and I’m always honored to sit with you as you find your way back to yourself and each other.
About me
When I’m not in the therapist chair, I love to spend time in places where I find peace and connection. This includes playing with my rescue dogs, enjoying the company of loved ones around a table of food, listening to live music, and getting creative through artistic expression.
My daily IFS practice is a hugely important part of my self-care. Connecting inside of myself allows me to show up as more present and available for my friends, family, and clients. This practice includes meditation, movement, and my own IFS therapy.
I truly enjoy meeting and getting to know new clients, and having the privilege of being a small part in the journey of your commitment to yourself - let’s do this!
